I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine in Craiova. I practiced for just one year, then spent five years wearing a manager's suit at pharmaceutical corporations like Schering-Plough and Hoffmann La Roche. I had a secure job, a good salary, but paradoxically also an increasingly clear feeling that this wasn't what I wanted from life.
In 1992 I took the first step into a completely new field: together with my parents and my brother, I started our first family business. Eight more followed. I made pastries in a bakery, then equipment for bakeries. I opened an ophthalmology clinic and distributed contact lenses. I manufactured speed recorders for locomotives and electronic devices for the IAR-99 Șoim military aircraft. I developed CRM and SFA mobile apps and an audiobook listening app, and later, a dental clinic.
I'm not telling you this to impress you. I'm telling you because most of these businesses weren't easy - some succeeded spectacularly, others taught me, painfully, what should never be repeated. I had good years and years when I seriously wondered whether I'd made the right choice giving up the doctor's coat or the corporate manager's suit.
Along the way I became a Founding Member of John Maxwell Leadership Romania and a certified John Maxwell USA trainer, a certified Academy of Executive Coaching (UK) coach, with a certification in rhetoric and public speaking from Casa Paleologu Romania, and in 2026 I'm completing my ICF - International Coaching Federation certification. Not for the diplomas, but because I wanted to put a serious framework over what I had already learned the hard way.
That same year, 2026, I put it all together into a single program: Inspiration CMCT - Coaching, Mentoring, Consulting, Training. Four different tools for the same question I've asked myself countless times: how do you truly become the hero of your own life?
That's what I still do today - I put this experience, mistakes and all, at the service of the leaders and entrepreneurs I work with. Not because I have all the answers, but because I've already asked enough wrong questions to know which ones are the right ones.
I don't believe in universal recipes for success, because they don't exist. What I've learned is something else: that most people get stuck not from a lack of intelligence or hard work, but from a lack of clarity. They're too close to their own problem to see it clearly.
My mission is simple: to be the outside voice you don't have in your organization. The one that doesn't tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. The one who has already been through the kind of hard decisions you're putting off now - and knows how much it really costs to keep putting them off.
I don't come with MBA theory and I don't come with cheap motivational formulas either. I come with questions that force you to think differently, with real experience from 30+ years in business, and with a single promise: that you leave every discussion with something concrete to do, not just a pleasant feeling.
If you're a leader, entrepreneur or organization that needs clarity rather than another friendly opinion - that's my job.
A constant presence in the press and on television for over a decade.
